| Remarks | I was driving westbound on 264 in Virginia Beach, VA. The fireball was to my right. I saw it through the front passenger window. It was a huge yellow ball of fire with a yellow burning tail streaking what seamed right over the city. It was angled in a way that it looked like it was going to crash into the city. But it fizzled out just above the lights of the city. It looked so close, but people up and down the coast in several states are reporting they saw it. So, the distance must be deceiving. It looked closer than it was. |
