Remarks I had arrived about 22 minutes, after driving from Dallas, Tx. to Raton New Mexico. (11 hours) I saw the desk clerk of the Best Western Hotel Plus, Raton, (Patrick) outside taking a smoke break. My lucky lil Schipperke Dog, named Dice, and I, walked out to greet him when I turned to look back west, and saw the Fire Ball in the sky over the Pet Hotel section. It was so close I thought a firework had gotten loose from someone! It burned about 3 seconds and made a burning hissing sound! I waited to see a light or hear an explosion, but saw none. > I am from Lake Charles, Louisiana. I am 51 years old, and the reason I am here is to drive to Denver and get a job, after finishing the phone interview a week ago, last week on Thursday. I hope its a good sign, I would LOVE to have that job in downtown Denver! :)
