Reports Report 721g (Event 721-2014)

Observer
Name Randy W
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks We first thought it was a burning aircraft falling, we were traveling in a vehicle so no sound, but I have heard fireballs in the past, based on what I saw it probably would have made a sound. The descent angle appeared to be steeper than 45 degress, the mass that I think I saw probably would have been about 20 to 30 deg from vertical. We both agreed that it would land south of highway 14 between Briggsdale and Sterling. First time I have seen one in the daytime.
