Reports Report 822b (Event 822-2014)

Observer
Name Glen W
Experience Level 5/5
Remarks To add to our previous report - the meteor was first spotted in Leo, heading nearly west. It passed overhead about 5 degrees south of the zenith. It was brightest just after this, then it began to fade. It passed a few degrees to the left of Capella in Auriga before fading out around 15-20 degrees above the WNW horizon. The meteor was visible for about 5 seconds and had a beautiful greenish-yellow color. It was clearly brighter than Jupiter which was available for comparison and was likely about as bright as Venus, which was not. GW
