Reports Report 1039a (Event 1039-2014)

Remarks NOTE: The above date is incorrect. I can't submit the form with the right date. because it keeps telling me that April 28 is in the future but I live in Australia, not the US. You guys should probably fix this if you're expecting international submissions. The event occurred on the East coast of Australia on April 28, 2014 at roughly the time I've stated in the form (give or take a couple of minutes). It was so bright and green that I first thought it was a distant flare, but realised it was something else when I saw there was no light or smoke trail that I could see. It didn't last long, only a second or two, and almost seemed to change direction, though not entirely. At first it was heading almost straight down, and then made a slight but fast dogleg to the right (the west). Which in retrospect is strange but I'm sure it was just a weird angle or something. I may have seen it flash at the end but I could just be imagining it now that the question has been asked.
