| Remarks | The meteor appeared to head straight down from my perspective. No angle at all. It flashed mostly very bright white with bits of yellow, light yellow, and light blue. It lasted .25 to .50 seconds. I was looking directly east in the sky when it appeared exactly where I was looking a bit above the tree line 60m distant. Tweeted it and looked for other tweets. Got a verification a few minutes later from Oakville, ON. News reports now say something exploded over Cobourg to Peterborough area of Ontario. |
