It seemed very big, seemed to appear out of no where since I could not see beyond the tree line it appeared over, it seemed very low in sky, just over the height of the trees and as I followed it by sight, it simply fizzled out, a bright fiery tailed object one minute, then as the tail of fiery sparks went out then so did the head of the bluish white very bright object. It completely shocked me, my line of sight is small due to all the trees and homes surrounding where I live, also to have no sound at all considering the sight and size of it was shocking as well, a SILENT FIREBALL, that seemed to disappear in mid-air. It was my first fireball sighting, and I was so excited, but after thinking awhile it seemed strange to have no sound, then when thinking of it's trajectory, when it first appeared, I could not understand how it just suddenly appeared, then disappeared as if it never occurred. I could still see a faint glow from where the sun had recently set too. It all seemed surreal, but then I am FAR from an expert as it was my first sighting, and I loved it! I have seen meteor showers in past, and also shooting stars, nothing prepared me for what I witnessed tonight! It was spectacular! |
