| Remarks | 5 people in my family (including myself) were standing on the beach In scotland MD near Point Lookout MD observing starts when we saw it. I was the first to see it out of the corner of my eye. It came down, but burned out before touching ground. We had full view of the Chesapeake Bay and it appeared it would have landed in the bay based on the downward direction, but it burned out before it hit. So im leaving this info because I do not agree with the other guy who says he saw it hit the bay. It would have been impossible to see it hit because it burned out in the air before making contact with the earth and we were right on the water at that time. |
