| Remarks | yellowish sparkling glittering wider behind the meteor and tapered there seemed to be a central core with less sparkle, it seem straight and a nearly level path, slight tilted southward , it was below the quarter moon on the western horizon, but could not follow its whole course as it was below obscuring trees, despite my height above 5000ft at Sams Gap. |
