| Remarks | A once in a lifetime event. Utterly terrifying since it was SO close by. I have searched hard for evidence of this event for almost a year now. I believe that it was very large, and that it landed in an area that I finally located just yesterday. Since I witnessed the event at night, I have had some difficulty locating the terminus. I hypothesize that main body of the meteorite landed in the deep sand that is everywhere in the area, thus I believe that it was buried by a landslide on impact. Spectacular does not even begin to describe it. |
