Reports Report 2306dh (Event 2306-2014)

Observer
Name David L
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Once again, I was driving and stopped at an intersection, left turn traffic light, when I witnessed the fireball. The event distracted me enough that I almost missed the light change and my chance to complete the turn. Because of this setting, I'm not able to assess the observation as well as I should. I was also turning my head in multiple directions, watching for traffic, when the event caught my eye.

Remarks The first I observed, it looked white-to-gray. I was at a traffic light, waiting to turn left when I noticed the fireball. It distracted me long enough, I almost missed my green light and chance to turn. So I wasn't in a position for a good, continued, observation of the event and trail.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks Again, I was at a traffic light, waiting to turn left when I noticed the fireball. I almost missed my green light and chance to turn. So I wasn't in a position for a good, continued, observation of the event. In trying to recall, it seemed I noticed the light streak first and just saw the terminal flash when I had to move.
Fragmentation
