Remarks | The people in the cars around me saw it too. They slowed down but no one stopped. It was bright enough to light up that part of the sky and it seemed to light up the area. I thought it was very close. At first I was excited, but then I was worried. |

Remarks | not sure what you mean about length, it was VERY long and stayed until just after the glowing ball disappeared. It was very wide, wider than the brightness of a street light. It was bright white and very sparkly. I was driving northbound and it was on the east side of the road. I have seen "shooting stars" and this was not comparable...much larger, seemed VERY close and lasted MUCH longer. Much brighter and the ball at the beginning was a deep orange. |
