| Remarks | I was heading North on Interstate 55 in Illinois, so I gave the closest position that I believe I was in. At first I thought it was a shooting star again, but quickly realized that it was too close and actually within the atmosphere. It was the first time I've ever witnessed what looked like a meteor falling. The sky was only slightly overcast in certain areas, but I could see stars as well because there was no noise from bright city lights as I was driving through farmland. Hope that helps! |
