Remarks | It struck me at first as the hospital helicopter moving unusually fast, but the light was solid and it simply vanished just over halfway up in the sky. This was the only explanation that I had, that it was a fireball. It was also relatively dark outside when it was seen, so any trails wouldn't have been visible to me. The coloration had a little more green in it than simply 'light blue', and it moved slower than other fireballs I've seen (during the Leonid meteor shower in October of 2001 in Stanley, NC) |
