Reports Report 2539a (Event 2539-2014)

Observer
Name Lowell L
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks Very fast, east to west, not long after moon set. I had been checking the moon every few minutes to watch the beauty in color. I have seen shooting stars before, they have all been much smaller, faint in appearance and seems like a long ways off. This one was overhead, very low and very bright, and appeared to be moving straight east to west, low and very fast in the sky on the same height unti it disappeared in the west, near where the moon set.
