Reports Report 2530n (Event 2530-2014)

Observer
Name George
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was looking at the moon with my telescope between about 7:15 p.m. EDT and 8:15 p.m. EDT. While taking a break around 8:00 p.m. I looked to the south and what I thought at first was a flare or fireworks appeared and slowly moved from the upper left to the lower right and passed below the trees/houses above New Brunswick Avenue. It was greenish in color and easily seen since it was bright. I did not notice a smoke trail. I did see one a number of years ago that did leave a smoke trail. I listened but did not hear any sounds. I came into the house and immediately told my mother who was talking to my aunt on the phone. I just heard from my mother that my aunt's friend said she saw a green fireball over Toms River, New Jersey last night. George
