I was on FB and asked if anyone else heard an explosion in the area. I had heard back from a good 20 people who live up to 40 miles away that stated they were woken up by the sound or had heard it and their dogs were going crazy. Then 3 Tafton Firemen posted they were disposing of a deer that was hit into the woods and as they were leaving the woods lit up like it was day. Almost like a massive flash from a camera went off. The two guys in the pickup bed saw it flash against the sky as it went by and said then they heard the boom that the rest of us heard. Pretty neat and we all thought it was so cool but wished we saw what we heard. Just happy it wasn't an explosion nearby.

I thought there was an explosion that became less and less as if rolling off the mountains . I had to check if there was a storm in the area because it sounded like thuinder rolling through the mountains. I checked for earthquakes. It woke my dogs and they began barking.

3 Firemen in the area saw the flash, said It was as quick as a camera flash and lit up the woods as if it were daylight. I personally heard it along with dozens from the area.
