| Remarks | I was driving on a 4 lane highway facing west. As soon as this event happened, I immediately called my wife because I knew I had seen something very unusual. Unfortunately, I really did not see a "fireball" streaking across the sky, however, it appeared to be a flash OR it was streaking directly towards me but never went over my car which confirms more of just a very bright flash/explosion. I was driving in the car with the windows up and the radio on so I heard no sound from this event. |

| Remarks | I only saw the flash. It seemed to come right towards me with some flare out on both sides. I knew it wasn't lightning and thought for a moment it was a large explosion from the ground since I saw it so low in the sky. |
