Remarks It was just getting dark. (CST at this locale). Fireball appeared to flash for a brief moment and then disappear. Looked like it had fallen to earth. I thought at first that it was a plane crash or missile. I'm a military officer and live near Arnold AFB in TN so we see weird stuff in the sky often. That said this fireball was SUPER bright, much more so then the rockets I saw in Iraq. It was a very dull sort of yellow.
