| Remarks | I saw my second ever fireball last Spring and did not know what it was until I saw it on a news article online. I reported it on this site at that time. With this most recent sighting, I at first thought I was seeing fireworks--but only for a second. It took me another second to figure out that it was a fireball, because it looked and acted similar to the one I saw last Spring. I feel privileged to have seen these events! 53 years old and I have only seen three of these: the first was at around 6AM on a cold, snowy day back in January, 1973 or 1974 in NE Ohio. That one simply lit up the night sky, even though I did not actually see the fireball itself. Seeing these recent two events within months of each other is pretty neat. |
