I was driving on the road when I saw this. I don't know if there was any sound or not. At first I thought this was a jet exploding in the sky. It had a very short tail and changed directions. I saw "balls" fall off of it(fell straight down vertical). It was a white or yellow fireball. I assume it was coming in my direction since I didn't see a long streak behind it and the reason it looked like it was changing directions. So far I know of two more people that saw it.

I saw pieces fall from it once every second. At first I thought it was flares from aircraft. It almost looked like fire dripping.
