This is the largest I have ever seen. There were several small "shooting stars" out, but this looked like a rocket coming in. It was downright scary to behold out on the boat with very little light pollution. There were three witnesses to this on the boat. My father had seen a similarly large fireball while traveling on the highway the night before.
