| Remarks | After reading about a meteor over Buffalo NY at the same time (last night), I am VERY convinced that I must have seen a piece of the main meteor. There is no doubt in my mind that the piece I saw landed or probably burnt out close to Newtown PA. (It actually appeared to have burnt out shortly before impact, maybe just a couple hundred feet up). It could not have been the NY piece because the tail was WAY too wide. I don't believe it would have appeared that large hundreds of miles away from my location! I was driving North on RT-95 when I observed the meteor. Hope this helps! |
