Reports Report 3384jn (Event 3384-2014)

Observer
Name Patrick D
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This fireball was not like anything I've ever seen before, no shooting stars would even compare to this. A coworker and I were traveling north on 87 just off exit 10 and it was right in front of us, we both saw it. It appeared around 8:20pm and the fireball first appeared at the angle of about 2pm on a hand clock. It shot almost straight down for about 2 seconds leaving a solid glowing stream that slowly fragmented and disappeared and the head of the ball just vanished. It was like something out of a movie it was so bright it looked like it was heading straight to the ground to blow up.
