| Remarks | It appeared to be low to the horizon and horizontal with the horizon. All the other meteors we saw tonight were more straight up in the sky. It was by fair the biggest in size (100% bigger) slowest and bright white. It was off as to the placements and timing of it compared to the others. It did have a slight red and blue around the back end/circle of the meteor, but mostly bright white along with its tale. It was seen at approximately 9:50pm moving away from the city (we were on the side of the causeway heading towards honeymoon island). It was an awesome experience. Overall, we counted 18 meteors that we saw from approximately 9am to 10:30. |
