It traveled east to west almost parallel to the horizon traveling slightly downward as it extended towards the west across the sky. It was brighter white/yellow than the stars in the sky and looked orange on the leading edge with a clearly distinct train that followed it and that disappeared several seconds after passing out of my view behind my trees as it continued west. It was the brightest I've observed in a long time and I was lucky to have walked onto my front porch as it passed high over the tree tops in the clear sky! Very cool!

Remarks
The train was bright white extending out quite a distance from the ball. Very sharp and distinct as if you took a white thin marker to the sky. It seemed to just fade quickly with nothing left behind after several seconds.
