| Remarks | I am not certain, but I believe there were one or two flashes. One chunk of the meteor separated from the main portion at around that time I believe I saw some flash or flashes. If I did see two flashes, they occurred in rapid succession. A trail of "sparks" -- which am assuming to be fragmentation -- seemed to follow both the main and separated chunk meteor. The sparks following the chunk were less pronounced than the sparks following the main portion. The initial flash was brightest, if I recall correctly. |
