Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I saw a bright light cross over interstate 81 while driving north near Harrisburg, Pa. It had the characteristics of a flare but quite a bit larger. It was a bright white fireball with a flaming trail behind it. At the time, I thought it was either a meteor or a plane falling from the sky. It traveled North-East to west and disappeared behind the tree line. It seemed so close that I felt it must have crashed nearby. What a cool sight! So happy no one was hurt!!
