Reports Report 3638aje (Event 3638-2014)

Observer
Name Tony L
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was a surveyor for artillery in the Marine Corps. We did a lot of surveying at night using the stars to carry control from point to point. This was mostly in the California Desert with no extra light sources from cities etc. I have seen many of these during that time but this one was much brighter , larger and lasted much longer. I also have never seen a "flash" or pieces falling at the end of it's travel path like this one previously.
