| Remarks | This was a beautiful sight to see on a clear night next to the ocean! I feel very lucky to have been able to see the meteor. I initially thought it was a shooting star until I saw the news reports of the meteor. So I am now interested in learning more about astronomy and observing. Hope this report helps in the study of meteors! |

| Remarks | When I first spotted it, it was a thin, white stream of light like a shooting star (but much lower in the sky). As it continued "over" the sand, a bright white, then yellow ball (like a fireball) appeared. The fireball was much larger than the initial train of light. As the "fireball" extinguished, there were circles of light coming from it, as in a firework. |
