We were on the 25th floor, what a view! i assumed i was seeing a plane or something to do with the airport at first, but quickly realized it was a 'shooting star' by its behavior, size and brilliant beauty - i am not sure of the exact time - i had been awake since 5:30 and was lying in bed just staring out the hotel window at the city lights and night sky -- When i looked at my watch again, it was 5:45. Could have been just before or after this! i felt lucky to have seen it so perfectly centered in my field of view (to the right of the Sheraton and both Prudential buildings, but to the left of a smaller 'see-through' building on my right), & on New Year's Day. (& Yes, i made a wish! ;-)) i was surprised at its color- a bright white becoming increasingly blue-greenish around the edges-- so pretty! i think this was probably the same one 'Waltham' saw driving on Route 2... |
