The color through the clouds shifted from neon blue to sea foam green. The final explosion shown bright enough as to extend across anywhere from 10 to 15 degrees worth of the sky then dissipated quickly as fast as a camera flash. It almost looked electrical like a power transformer exploding. However, the elevation was to high above the tree line to be any of the local sub-divisions and no outages were reported that morning that I have been able to find.

Remarks
The sky was cloud covered so it was back lighting the clouds. There were four to five flashes before it stopped all together.
