Reports Report 233c (Event 233-2015)

Observer
Name Chris L
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was driving North on the highway. I first noticed it out the driver side window and thought it was a plane on approach to the airport. That is the normal direction planes usually come from. Once it was in front of me and I could see it straight out the front windshield- I then took note of it. It was going way too fast to be a plane landing. The trail behind it was like a normal meteor trail glowing white\yellow. This object was "pulsating" ( got brighter then dimmer over a short amount of time) I would call it. It also appeared more like it was breaking up or disintegrating and popping pieces off. I thought I could see small bits right before the fireball disappeared, but I could be wrong. I noticed a bright white, yellow, outside glow with a greenish color center maybe.

Remarks Trail was glowing, long almost across my wind shield from where I first noticed it. Thought it was a plane going to the airport at first, but it was going to fast to be landing. it also sort of pulsed towards the end and the trail lasted not to long after that "head" disappeared.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks Thought it was a plane going to the airport at first, but it was going way to fast to be landing. It also sort of pulsated towards the end. I compare it to when something is breaking up in the atmosphere sort of, but I didn't see any extra trails really. It did seem to be breaking up.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks I compare it to when something is breaking up in the atmosphere sort of, but I didn't see any extra trails really. It did seem to be breaking up though.
