| Remarks | I was a passenger of a moving car on the way to Valdosta, Georgia from Thomasville, Georgia. I'm not sure about my exact location at the time but I know I was on Highway 84 past Quitman but not quite into Valdosta yet. I stargaze frequently while I'm riding in the car at night and couldn't believe I caught this beautiful sight! It was so unique from anything I've ever experienced so I knew I had to look it up online to find out what I saw. Its exciting to know that others in my area witnessed it too! Unfortunately I didn't stare at the sky long enough after the first couple of seconds to see if there was a trail left behind, because I turned to someone else in the car to ask if they saw the same thing (they weren't looking). |
