| Remarks | Commercial Instrument rated pilot. Looked similar to the giant meteor in Russia that broke up, except it descended vertically, long enough to say Oh wow. And my friend a 25 year veteran of the police force, turn around and watch it from halfway down, till it descended into the trees on the horizon. Two large objects were dark spots in the bluish fireball/contrail. Waited appx 3 minutes, never heard any sonic boom. But in the city, in a residential neighborhood with a lot of ambient noise. |
