Reports Report 449ba (Event 449-2015)

Observer
Name Matthew M
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I have never seen anything like this before. I noticed that the sky was lighting up, and then a streak of greenish light entered my field of view. I saw the streak fragment into 3 or 4 individual streaks that each terminated in a bright flash. The whole event lasted only a few seconds. I am studying aerospace engineering, and I have astronomical observing experience from using my 60 mm refractor telescope. I am lucky to have been able to see this fireball. It was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness this event.
