| Remarks | I have seen meteor showers before but this was unlike anything I have ever seen. The weird thing about this sighting was it seemed to us to be initiated from ground level rather than something entering our airspace from above. We initially both thought that it looked like a space shuttle launching but that isn't possible and we have no space stations around here. It seemed to head in the direction of the Idaho National Laboratory. It came directly over us and it literally looked like we were watching a comet or something like that. Never seen anything like it! |

| Remarks | Not sure the degree of length. We watched it for almost a minute. It had a trailing tail quite a bit behind it the entire time, with fragmented pieces. |

| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | When it initial came into our view it looked like it was all one piece, but it traveled up and over our heads and disappeared 180 degrees in the other direction. It went directly over us and it as it traveled it looked like there were smaller fragments breaking off with the trailing tail. There were several larger portions that broke off, at least two or three that were significant portions of the initial singular object. |
