Reports Report 547s (Event 547-2015)

Experience Level 3/5
Remarks While I consider myself a casual observer of of the skies, I spend a much greater amount of time observing the night skies than the average person as I am an avid hiker and camper. I spend a lot of time peering up at the skies, often at high altitudes laying on the ground without the obstruction of artificial lights. I have seen a lot of what I could describe as meteors, satellites and other obvious man made objects but have never seen an object that looked like this one. The size and color were like none that I have ever seen before. It was pretty interesting because of the angle that it appeared to be moving was relatively steep and slow. There was no obvious tail and there wasn't signs of fragmentation. I'd be interested to know what could make it look like it did.
