Reports Report 931a (Event 931-2015)

Observer
Name Nicholas M
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This is the second green flash I have personally experienced. One when I was a child, and couldn't recall any accurate information. And this occurrence, and another one I'm about to report happened in the same year. Within a month of each other, in two different states. I was also facing South both times I saw them, the one I have less memory on was to the North-East. Nobody in the car with me saw the green flash, but the glimpse of it was very noticeable. Maybe my reputation of having eagle eyes proceeds me. I only imagined what the composition of the fragment was, I guessed either copper or nickel, both burn green with the right amount of heat. I'll also add that the month and the year are correct. As for the exact date and time, they are estimated. The sun set in my location around 6:00-6:30pm, and we were rushing to the beach to catch the set. So I could guess the fireball was seen somewhere in that time frame. I hope my information was helpful somewhere!

Remarks I was in my car, and saw the flash of green in the top right corner of the window. Saw it sparkle and glitter with a bright green glow as it fell. I think I saw it so clearly because the private beach is away from PCB's main strip. The light pollution is much lower there, and it was looking out toward the ocean.
