| Remarks | It was moving very fast, almost horizontal but then seemed to have a slight downward trajectory. I saw no smoke, sparks, or fragments coming off of it. It appeared to me as a very bright object about the size of a golf ball passing front of me. I have never seen a meteor travel this far through the sky. I first noticed it as it came by the moon slightly to my left (south west), traveled across the sky in front of me, and disappeared far to the north. I ran out into the street, about 50 ft, to get a better look at it as it either burned out or just disappeared about 20 degrees above the horizon to the north. |
