| Remarks | It appeared quite suddenly and was distinctly green with a right white light all around it. I was very surprised because it was so low, so bright and so horizontal. At first I thought it was perfectly horizontal but then it seemed to be dipping lower and disappeared behind the fir trees in the distance. I had been looking at the stars, hoping that I might see auroras from the ongoing geomagnetic storm. |
