Reports Report 1573c (Event 1573-2015)

Observer
Name Ken M
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I've seen plenty of shooting stars, this was a bright green source of light, quite low to the horizon (I live at 8,700 feet and have a view of the eastern Colorado plains). If I could estimate, it was possibly over the Colorado/Kansas border or even further east - it was moving!

Remarks One bright, green source (thought it was an airplane nav light a short distance away), sustained motion to the north for 2-3 seconds, then began to fragment (smaller green fragments separating from the main), then the main source and fragments faded out, all after about 5-6 seconds total flight.
