Reports Report 1916e (Event 1916-2015)

Observer
Name Riley J
Experience Level 5/5
Remarks I was out viewing the Perseids with my mother. I was facing the fireball when it started and she was facing directly away and still noticed it - it cast a definitive shadow. Also noteworthy is that there was an additional bright meteor roughly four minutes before this, around magnitude -5. It was much quicker, a 5/5 speed, whereas I would rate this one a 1-2/5. They were the only two meteors of the night to share this definitive blood-red color.
