| Remarks | This object appeared football shape, entering the atmosphere on the long side, with two long bright trails coming from either end, leaving a gap in the overall trail directly following in the path of the body. The body was a bright gold glowing color, and the trails had the same color, changing to an orange yellow streaks at their ends. The trajectory of the object was more or less straight down. I spotted it at about 75 degrees alt, while it was already fully developed, approximately 3-5 seconds later, it was at about 45 degrees alt, and became partially obscured by a tree. I was able to spot it again through the tree about 3-5 seconds later for 2 seconds. During this entire time, the shape, trails. trajectory, and velocity did not appear to change. |
