I was fascinated by how bright and clear I could see Venus(?) and the smaller star behind it during a clear but otherwise starless sunrise when this fireball flew right over head.

It looked like a flare- light blue ball of light with white tail, which got brighter and bigger when it disappeared. Seemed very close to earth.
