Remarks | this fireball was round. meaning that it had an identifiable, circular diameter, and fire was burning around the edges as it travel.led. The duration of the sighting was really just over 2 seconds, or perhaps just barely under 2 seconds, but no more than three, and no less than 1 for sure. (thus I selected the 3-5 second range). I have seen much smaller fire balls in the past, and regular shooting stars (pinprick), but this was a circle. I am surprised that you did not ask for a diameter, so I will offer one here.less than 1/10th the diameter of the full moon, perhaps even 1/20th. about the size of a pea, or even half of that at arms length (3 feet away). |
