It appeared as if a helicopter was pointing a extremely bright light directly at me.

It appeared as if the the bright orb fragmented and re entered a portal in the dark sky, best way to describe it. Because it literally disappeared. I thought I saw some type of cloud trail which lasted about 2 seconds after it disappeared.
