| Remarks | I was driving on the highway, so I didn't exactly stare at the thing. However, it was prominent enough that I was able to glance at it repeatedly before it disappeared over the horizon. Taking to social media, two others saw it, one from Long beach, the other from eastern long Island. The individual from eastern long island informed me that their friends from the North Fork had also seen it, along with three less prominent shooting stars. |
