Reports Report 3465q (Event 3465-2015)

Observer
Name JEANNE S
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I observed this at 2:21 a.m. on my nightly trip to the 'loo'. Behind our home is a large field, edged in tall mature trees. Mt. Monadnock looms beyond the horizon and is visible from our house. I usually glance out the window to notice what I can see in the moonlight. There were many, many stars out last night when this happened. All sorts of formations. The sky was extremely clear. All of a sudden, this fireball dropped straight down out of the sky, and before reaching the ground surface, it exploded into the bright white/light greenish orb. I could clearly see a trail of black smoke above the fireball as it descended. It all happened very fast. The explosion was like a hundred flashbulbs going off at the same time.
