My first thought was what is this huge fireball? I've never seen anything so large, round and falling from the sky. I wondered if it was a jet plane that caught on fire and was crashing to earth. But there were no smoke trails and it was too round to be a plane. It was the most amazing phenomenon I've ever seen.

It appeared the same, just more obscured from sight when it came in contact with the horizon. I thought the ground would be on fire and jumped in my car to find it.
